The Manifestation Q&A Series: The Magical Mira Kelley.

January 11, 2013

Welcome to The Manifestation Q&A Series.

I am Jennifer Pastiloff and this series is designed to introduce the world to someone I find incredible. Someone who is manifesting their dreams on a daily basis.

Someone like Mira Kelley.

Mira is a regressionist and an author whom I met when I saw the beloved Dr. Wayne Dyer speak in Atlanta last year. I’d always been scared of regression. Of the unknown, of what I didn’t understand.

After meeting her and doing this interview with her, I am no longer afraid. I am ready. I am healed.

Here’s what Dr. Wayne Dyer has to saw about the lovely Mira:

“I spent one spectacular afternoon in a hypnotic time lapse in which I was taken on a magical journey into a past life with Mira Kelley. In fact, I was so taken by this experience that I included a verbatim transcript of the entire past life regression in my latest book titled Wishes Fulfilled. This remarkable woman put me totally at ease as she skillfully guided me through deeply ingrained but long repressed memories that brought me to a new level of awareness of who I am and what path I was to take.

I can still recall vividly even the most minute of details that took place in our life changing session together, and I feel such a sense of clarity about my life path up until now, and more significantly about the direction I now feel compelled to follow. The thing that resonates so profoundly with me since our session together is that I understand not only what I have been doing and why, but what I now know I must do in the future.

This experience with Mira was truly one of the peak experiences of my life. She was so skillful and yet gentle and compassionate throughout every moment of this wondrous time I spent examining the world of the invisible. I am writing these words with profound emotion and I offer her my sincere enthusiastic endorsement. Whatever you do, don’t miss this opportunity to experience a regression with Mira.”

I met Mira in Atlanta last year and knew I wanted to get to know her better after listening what Wayne had to say and then meeting her. She is lovely and gentle and kind and I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did. Please feel free to reach out to her to book a session by clicking here. What an honor this is…

Jennifer Pastiloff: What are you most proud to have manifested in your life?

Mira Kelley: I used to be a corporate attorney in a large New York City law firm. I was a good lawyer and received a certain satisfaction of serving my clients well, but my heart was aching for true fulfillment and meaning. In time I was able to release the limiting beliefs and fears that were holding me back and to allow myself to be who I truly am. I am most proud of giving myself the freedom to follow my calling to inspire people and bring light to their lives through regression.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Can you share with us what it is you do? What a past life regression is? I was very moved when you spoke of it as being more of a parallel life.

Mira Kelley: I assist people in connecting with other lives they have lived. This gives invaluable understanding of who they are, what soul connections they share with loved ones and what is their purpose. During the sessions people experience both emotional and physical healing and receive guidance from their Higher Self. Regression is a very transformative process. By suspending the input of their five senses, people are able to go within and experience other lives they have lived in very personal, real and powerful ways.

People refer to these experiences as past lives. However, my work has thought me that time is a construct that we experience only here on Earth. In reality, everything exists in this one eternal moment. Therefore, all the lives our soul creates are not past or future. They are simultaneous to the present life we have.

Jennifer Pastiloff: I got the chills when I listened to your conversation with Wayne Dyer and you spoke of your years of being a lawyer as preparing you for what you are doing now. You were simply getting ready for your Divine Purpose. I waited tables at the same restaurant for 13 years and I look back on those years as a getting-ready stage to be fully self-expressed and fully come into my bliss. Can you share with us a bit about the transition from being a lawyer to doing regressions? For many people, this type of shift is inspiring but also terrifying. Letting go of “what feels safe”……

Mira Kelley: For me it seemed very terrifying at first too. I was making an excellent living as an attorney, yet my heart was pulling me in a different direction. I was aware of my fears and beliefs around the idea of being a healer. I knew that jumping off a cliff without a parachute would not work for me. For some it might but not for me.

So rather than leave the safety of my legal career and dive into the unknown abruptly, I chose to do it step by step. I pursued my passion in every moment to the extent I could in that moment. At first these actions were small, like reading a book with regression stories. I studied with every teacher my heart directed me to. I regressed myself, every family member and every friend numerous times. I spoke about my passion with everyone I could. When I felt ready, I began seeing clients whenever I could. In every moment I was following that which felt exciting to the best of my abilities.

Simultaneously, I was working on shifting my beliefs. Our beliefs are the plan upon which we build our reality. I chose to see different possibilities for myself. I chose to believe that I could be myself and I could financially support myself by doing what I love.

Because I allowed for the expression of who I am, in what initially seemed like small ways, the energy began to build up. With time the exciting actions I took became bigger and bigger. And here I am today – having found safety in myself, rather than in a job, and loving every moment of my life.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Why were you called to Wayne Dyer? I loved that you apparently had a knowing that you must connect with him and you did. As if it was already orchestrated. It seems to me further evidence that you are, as they say, ‘walking the talk’.

A friend and I had a conversation and my friend shared that Dr. Wayne Dyer was doing a tour through Europe called “Experiencing the Miraculous.” The word “miraculous” spoke to me and in that moment I had a clear knowing that he is ready for the miracle of healing. Two years prior to this moment, I was in the audience where during a talk he gave, Dr. Dyer announced that he had just been diagnosed with leukemia. I shared this intuitive feeling with my friend. Knowing about the regressions I do, he knew that my work holds the potential for a physical healing. My friend encouraged me to reach out to Wayne Dyer.

I dismissed his suggestion. I imagined that Dr. Dyer would have many capable healers around him. And I talked myself out of the idea by saying to myself, “Why would he even want to have a session with me. After all, my official title is not even regressionist. I am an attorney.” Yet, the feeling that I need to reach out to him persisted. After a month of this dialog in my mind, I finally decided that if I am meant to be a tool in the hands of God in whatever way and to be of service to someone I should not resist that. I wrote a letter to Dr. Dyer. The relief I felt after sending the letter was tremendous. I no longer needed to have that dialog in my mind because I felt that I have done all I could possibly do. And I honestly forgot about it. A month later Dr. Dyer reached out to me and several months later, I flew out to meet with him and for us to do a regression.

Jennifer Pastiloff: I know Wayne speaks of you in his latest book (a must read!) Wishes Fulfilled, but for those who haven’ yet read it, would you share a bit about your session with him?

Mira Kelley: As with everyone, what a person experiences during a regression is very appropriate for who they are and where they are in that moment of their life. Wayne Dyer experienced a lifetime that very clearly connects with the person he is today and the teachings he shares with the world.

The session was very emotional. As tears were streaming down his face, I was crying along as well. I am very grateful to Dr. Dyer for including the full script of our session in his book Wishes Fulfilled. I want to encourage everyone to read the book and the story of another life he has lived.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Having a sense of humor is one of the most important qualities a person can have in my opinion. I loved how in your recorded conversation with Wayne he was trying to ask you a question and it wasn’t very clear. You took a long pause and finally said “I know there was a question there. Ask it.” It made me smile. When was the last time you laughed at yourself?

Mira Kelley: I love your question. I like to joke how in my mind sometimes we are me, myself and I. This inner dialog is something everyone can relate to as we all do it. In my mind, we love having fun, especially when it has to do with being playful and curious, flowing through life, and allowing for miracles. And when in a situation my limitations show up, there is always a voice which loving teases me, urges me to a better way and always, always makes everything so light that I always end up laughing at myself and through that lovingly accepting myself.

Jennifer Pastiloff: What was your “aha” moment that this was what you were meant to do with your life?

Mira Kelley: I never had an “aha” moment per se as people describe it, because, honestly, I never could have imagined that my life could be what it is today. My passion for regression was always there, so you could say that my “aha” moment was when I chose to surrender and to trust myself and my life and to allow for the flow to take me.

My regression with Wayne Dyer was a life-changing event for both of us. Following my session with him, I returned back to my life as an attorney in New York City. A few days later, Dr. Dyer called and told me that we would like to include the transcript of our session in his book “Wishes Fulfilled.” I was moved beyond what words can describe. In that moment I said to myself, “Mira, Wayne Dyer believed in you. Now it is time for you to believe in yourself.”

Jennifer Pastiloff: Who has been your greatest teacher?

Mira Kelley: My greatest teacher has been my excitement.

My answer may seem unusual so allow me to explain. My excitement has brought me the greatest joy and fulfillment. But it has also allowed me to face myself, to release my limiting beliefs, and to overcome what I perceived as the greatest challenges.

In order to pursue my love for regressions, I had to overcome my belief that I cannot financially support myself doing this work. In order to be able to share the stories of my sessions and the powerful lessons of healing and transformation, I had to overcome my fear of speaking in front of people.

That which we find exciting in every moment is the recognition of our true self. Those things that call us, no matter how small or big, resonate with us because they mirror our essence. When we follow them we are always faced with more of ourselves. And if we transcend the fears that will inevitably come up, we will always find ourselves in a greater, more expanded place.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Who/what inspires you the most?

Mira Kelley: My clients inspire me. The wisdom and the transformations that take place during the sessions inspire me. My lovely nieces inspire me. Reading a good book always inspires me. Looking out the window and marveling the scenery always provokes moments of inspiration. The list is endless. The magic of life gives me that which I need in every moment. Life is abundant in inspiration.

Jennifer Pastiloff: I love how you said how important it was to not simply think of yourself as being able to be healed but rather that you are healed already. Can you share with us a bit about this?

Mira Kelley: The reality of being a person who is able to be healed and the reality of a person who is already healed are two different realities. One is a reality of a present challenge where a potential of improvement exists. The other one is a reality of health and vitality. If you focus on creating the ability to be healed, you will be reinforcing that reality, that potential with the keyword being “ability” not “healed.” That creates the need for a process. We all need some kind of a process to transform. The mastery in the creation of our lives comes in the ability to shorten the process needed.

In this moment, there is a version of you who does not have the emotional and physical challenges that you are dealing with. All possible realities already exist in creation. This you exists. In your thoughts and actions be that reality. Absorb the lesson present in the challenge and live as if you already are a person of exuberant vitality and joy. This allows for the shortening of the process and for the greatest alchemy of transformation.

Jennifer Pastiloff: What has been the greatest gift in your life?

Mira Kelley: The magic and miracles that Dr. Wayne Dyer brought into my life has been the greatest gift for me so far.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Anita Moorjani, and of course, Wayne Dyer have both changed my life. Tell us how you came across the lovely Anita, author of “Dying to be Me.”?

Mira Kelley: I belong to a large group of people who email each other on spiritual topics. Anita’s story arrived in my inbox. It was sent by someone I don’t know personally. I read her story and absolutely loved it. It spoke to many of the things I believed but more importantly it spoke to my understanding on the simultaneity of time and the possibility for instant physical healing once the emotional challenges are resolved. Anita’s story and her words deeply moved me.

The following day, as the magical synchronicities of life are always orchestrated, I spoke with Wayne Dyer for a first time. Our conversation was brief but I mentioned to him that I want to send him Anita’s story. He too was deeply moved by it and shared it with the wonderful people at Hay House. They too were impacted by her story and offered her to publish her book.

By simply trusting my instincts to bring up Anita’s story in the brief first conversation I had with Wayne Dyer, I became a stepping stone on her path to inspiring and uplifting the world. And in the unfolding of that I gained an even greater trust in my spontaneity and more importantly, I connected with a woman who is truly my soul sister.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Gratitude is the greatest force In my life. Most of my classes are set to this theme. If you could say thank you right now, who would it be to?

Mira Kelley: I would say: “Thank you, Mira.” And I would also say, “Thank you, Dr. Wayne Dyer.”

I agree with you that gratitude is such a force in our lives. In addition to always thanking those around us, I would like to encourage everyone who is reading this, to also always thank yourself. After all, you are the source, the masterful creator of your life, the one who allows for all great things to come. And that needs to be appreciated.

Jennifer Pastiloff: If someone wants a session with you, how would they go about that? Are they all in person or do you do them over the phone as well?

Mira Kelley: I lead my clients to a deep state of trance and because of that I prefer to do all my sessions in person. If you want to have a session with me or learn more about what the sessions are like, please email me at info[at] or through the contact form on my website at

Because not everyone can travel to meet with me in person, I have created a guided regression CD that people can use at home. It is called “Healing Through Past Life Regression … And Beyond.” The recording follows the same process I use with my clients. The CD set also has a guided meditation, which is truly transformative. People can get the CD set on my website at

Jennifer Pastiloff: What fulfills you?

Mira Kelley: Every session fulfills me tremendously. Every session is a miracle. I am always in awe how divinely orchestrated every meeting is and how the person is always given that which will guide them and support them in their highest good. When conversing with the person’s Higher Self during a session, I reminded of the wisdom and healing that is always there for us.

Last night, after a long and productive day, I shut down my computer as I was getting ready to go to bed. And I though to myself, “I cannot wait for tomorrow. I have such exciting things to do.” I couldn’t help but laugh at myself. Those exciting things I was looking forward to were really just more work – making calls, responding to emails and so on. My life fulfills me because I am on purpose.

Jennifer Pastiloff: When I met you in Atlanta, I was struck by how warm you were. When you meet people do you immediately sense their Divine Self?

Mira Kelley: Thank you so much, Jennifer. I recently spoke with someone who said to me that I bring forth the divinity in people. I was really struck by these words. What a beautiful way to explain how when I interact with someone I always naturally, instinctively connect with their divine essence, their Divine Self.

Jennifer Pastiloff: What has been the most moving experience you’ve had while leading a regression?

Mira Kelley: The understanding of the simultaneity of existence in the field of regression is very, very novel. Up until the moment I encountered it myself in a session, I have never read about it nor heard anyone else talk about it.

I very vividly remember the very first time the concept of the simultaneity of existence was revealed to me.

John was my very first client outside of my circle of family and friends. He experienced 6 lives all of which overlapped in time. They all transpired between 1900s and 2040s. In two of the lives he saw, right now, he is still alive and thriving.

The session with him began as any other session would. John experienced himself as a man in his early 30s. John first merged with the life of that man on the day his son was born and he was really happy to have him. When telling me about himself and the development of his life, John was very specific with names and dates. He was a rich banker who lived in New York City. His son was born in 1940, so John himself must have been born around 1910. We explored how his son died in a car accident in 1957, how his daughter got married in 1963. Later, John’s wife died and he lost his fortune. He ended his life in 1978 by committing suicide.

John’s spirit rose from the body after the body died from the gun wound and went to the other side. On the other side, he was met by his spirit guide. John and his spirit guide discussed the need for John to be reborn again and face the issues he was unable to face during the life he just abruptly ended. He experienced himself being reborn very quickly. And this is where things got very strange for me.

John was born with a darker skin in the South and was adopted by a white family. It was the summer of 1950. When John said that, I froze. I held my breath, leaned back in the chair as if attempting to disappear. I was hoping that John would not hear me breathing and somehow snap out of experience he was having and start judging it. In the life we had just previously reviewed he died in 1978. And there he was being born in 1950 in a different life. It did not make sense to me. We reviewed the entire second life and John died in his 90s, which brings us to the 2040s. And to make matters even more perplexing, my client as the person he is today was born in the mid 1980s. This adventure in timelessness continued with 4 other lives which also took place in the same 140 or so year period.

When I conversed with his Higher Self, I asked why all 6 lives overlap with each other and with his current life. The Higher Self explained to me that all lives are lived simultaneously. It is not that our soul moves from one body to another in a liner progression of time. The oversoul creates splits of itself that experience these lives simultaneously, since there is no time on the other side. In John’s case the 1900s and 2000s are a fertile ground for experiencing the understanding his soul is seeking to gain.

The session with John was mind-blowing. He was the first of many clients who brought me a new and greater understanding of time and miracles. I share all these stories in my upcoming book “Parallel Lives” which is coming out in June 2013. I can assure you – it is an exciting read, a true adventure.

Jennifer Pastiloff: What would you say to someone who feels scared about doing a regression?

Mira Kelley: I would say, “I understand your trepidations. I want to assure you that all you will discover is more of yourself. And that is something wonderful, healing, empowering and exciting.”

Jennifer Pastiloff: What is up next for Mira Kelley? Where can we find more of you? And when can I book a session ☺

Mira Kelley: I am looking forward to a wonderful year of traveling and sharing with even more people. And I look forward to each and every session I will do. I look forward to people all over the world listening to my guided regression and meditation on my CD set “Healing Through Past Life Regression … And Beyond” and transforming their lives through this powerful work. I also look forward to the release of my book “Parallel Lives” in June 2013.

You can connect with me on my website or through my Facebook page I would love to connect with and share with everyone who reads this.

And I most definitely look forward to the first chance we have to do a regression with you, Jennifer, as I know it will be a wonderful experience for both of us.

Contests & Giveaways, Inspiration

The Inspiration Awards & Anita Moorjani.

May 21, 2012

Hey Dear Manifesters,

My dear friend Anita Moorjani, whom did a q&a back in February on this site, has been nominated for an Inspiration Award! It’s pretty spectacular and the other folks nominated are also amazing. To be in such company! Sigh…..

Here is the link to vote if you feel so inclined.

Even to just peruse who these folks are will give you chills up your spine.

I first met Anita last October when I saw her speak at one of Wayne Dyer’s conferences in Pasadena, California. Her story is truly remarkable and the love she displays is greater than anyone I have ever met.

Anita  Moorjani

Anita Moorjani was born in Singapore of Indian parents, moved to Hong Kong at the age of two, and has lived in Hong Kong most of her life. Because of her background and British education, she is multi lingual and, from the age of two, grew up speaking English, Cantonese and an Indian dialect simultaneously. She had been working in the corporate field for several years before being diagnosed with cancer in April of 2002. Her fascinating and moving near-death experience in early 2006 has tremendously changed her perspective on life. Her life is now ingrained with the depths and insights she gained while in the other realm.

As a result of her near death experience, Anita is often invited to speak at conferences and events to share her insights. She is also a frequent speaker at universities, particularly for their department of behavioral sciences, speaking on topics such as: dealing with terminal illness; facing death; psychology of spiritual beliefs; etc. She is the embodiment of the truth that we all have the inner power and wisdom to overcome even life’s most adverse situations, as she is the living proof of this possibility.

Take a moment if you would and vote today.
I am also so excited to say that Anita will be joining me over at Positively Positive!

Frank Gjata of Blississippi. The Manifestation Q&A Series.

May 13, 2012

Welcome to The Manifestation Q&A Series.

I am Jennifer Pastiloff and this series is designed to introduce the world to someone I find incredible. Someone who is manifesting their dreams on a daily basis.

I first met Frank Gjata when someone who took my classes gave me an envelope filled with his beautiful Manifestation tattoos. Naturally, I was intrigued as to who this guy was. I started wearing the tattoos all the time. When Frank and I finally met in person it was if we had known each other our whole lives and we pretty much have talked 5 times a day since that first meeting.

He truly has become my family.

He is one of the most gifted and prolific minds I have ever come across.

He founded a site called Blississippi and I want you to stop what you are doing right now and have your mind blown. Here it is:

He also happens to be one of the most generous and big-hearted people I am lucky enough to know. Last weekend he joined me at my 6th Manifestation to Ojai and we had a blast. His answers below are thoughtful, humble, honest, funny and provocative. If you don’t have a little Frank in your life, you don’t know what you are missing.

Get Frank……

Jennifer Pastiloff: What are you most proud to have manifested in your life?

Frank Gjata: Man, you ask good questions Jennifer. Don’t waste anytime do you? Just go for the goods right off the bat. Love it.

Okay…I’m most grateful for manifesting…letting go of trying to manifest anything….other than being my true self in the moment and living my bliss. As I do that, I naturally manifest lots of fun stuff, like getting to hang out with you Jennifer ;-).

Jennifer Pastiloff:  Love that answer!

What’s the greatest lesson that you have learned from being a coach?

Frank Gjata: I’ve learned that everyone has a deep desire to connect…that everyone is fully equipped to connect…and that it’s blissful and life-giving to connect. Did that connect with you? 😉

Frank giving a lecture at my May 2012 Ojai retreat. Photo by James Vincent Knowles.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Who has been your greatest teacher?

Frank Gjata: God/the universe in all “its” infinite forms, including human ones. Every human qualifies here….and I mean everyone. I have this website called that illustrates in a fun way how even the most challenging people can be our most blessed teachers…as they invite us (okay, challenge us;-) to be more of our true essence. I really believe…Everyone on earth is an angel. Sometimes, you just have to squint really hard to see their wings;-)

Now, speaking in more “practical” terms, a couple of my favorite human teachers are Drs. Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks of The Hendricks Institute. I’ve learned so much from these lovely, genius people. Check them out:

Jennifer Pastiloff: Can you share with us a bit about your journey? Leaving the corporate world of advertising to follow your heart and your bliss?

Frank Gjata: I really think of it more like I brought the corporate world of advertising with me rather than leave it behind. I believe every step of our journey prepares us perfectly for our next step. I loved working as a writer in advertising and it has come in very handy. (I feel a tangent coming here, bear with me;-) To me, good advertising at its essence is simply effective communication. Effective communication is a good thing. The “problem” lies in what we choose to effectively communicate. I found it frustrating that some very good communicators were working for some very “bad” companies and some very bad communicators were working for some very “good” companies.

That’s why I created “Advertising For A Better World” ( My group ONLY works with like-minded companies focusing on bettering the world. It brings together very good communicators with very good companies. Are you with me Jennifer? Do you like that? :)

(note from Jen: I do! I do!)

It’s still in its infancy stage and has been hired mostly by me to work on my various projects, causes, services and a variety of “websites on a mission” that you can see on my new website:

Click photo to “like” Blississippi on Facebook.

Frank Gjata: But I digress…

I know what you really meant with your question about leaving advertising. I just knew I had to uncover more of who I really was at my core and be that. Quite honestly, I really didn’t have much choice in the matter. I was being “called” as we ALL are. And if we don’t answer that call…that incessant ringing will drive us mad…in more ways than one.

So, nowadays, I’ve gotten pretty good at not arguing with what comes up for me and simply listen and follow. It’s one of my most important lessons really. I even created a tattoo for that: Listen. Follow.

One of the things I say often is that the best leaders are simply the best followers. Think about truly great leaders. Gandhi. Martin Luther King. Mother Teresa. They we’re just following their hearts…following what was being called from inside of them…not outside of them. If you’re gonna follow someone, follow a follower!

Jennifer Pastiloff: Conscious Ink. My obsession is your Manifestation Tattoos. Tell us about the story behind them and where can folks buy them?

Frank Gjata: You’re so sweet. You’ve been such a great supporter of Conscious Ink. Thank you.

At my retreat wearing our “Follow Your Bliss” Conscious Ink tats! Photo by James Vincent Knowles.

Well, as a coach and as a human, I’m always thinking of fun ways to help me and others stay on the path. I love these tattoo messages on a different levels. On a practical level, each tattoo empowers the wearer (and anyone who happens to see it) to stay true to their intentions.

But perhaps, on an even more fundamental level, these empowering words can seep deep within us and perhaps can organically shift us at a cellular level…well, at least, according to Dr. Emoto. He studied the impact of different types words on water finding that positive words like “love” turned frozen water crystals into beautiful patterns, where as negative words like “fear” turned the crystals into ugly irregular patterns. Well, if the energy of words can make such a profound impact on water, imagine the impact on our bodies, since we’re mostly made of water. This point was also illustrated in the powerful movie “What The Bleep Do We Know?”

Conscious Ink currently offers over 150 Manifestation Tattoos with a variety of empowering words, quotes and affirmations. It’s also just a lot of fun getting all tatted up. You can see all the different designs at:

Jennifer Pastiloff: Who/what inspires you the most?

Frank Gjata: I’m constantly humbled, inspired and often moved to tears…seeing (and feeling) that God is everywhere, in everything, in everyone, in every moment.

I’m also inspired by anyone being their true self…those who have overcome the fears and barriers that may have opposed that. In fact, I’ve devoted an entire website to these amazingly courageous and frank people called: The site simply features a weekly video of a frank person making a bold contribution to our world. People can also sign up to receive the weekly video in the inbox for free. I’m sure I’ll soon be featuring you Jennifer. You’ve already impacted so many of us with your life, your work and, well, your frank sharing;-) It’s good to be frank, isn’t Jennifer? Thank you!

Jennifer Pastiloff: I teach many of my classes to the theme of gratitude. If you could say thank you right now to one person who would it be?

Frank Gjata: Hmm, one person, eh? The list is endless…okay, okay, let’s see, who comes up first is… the person reading this right now. Hi there. Thank you. Appreciate you hanging out here with Jennifer and I…who knows where our new connection will lead?!

Love these tats!

Jennifer Pastiloff: What are some words you live by?

Frank Gjata: As I mentioned earlier, I’m a big believer of simply listening and following…to our truth within. We all say we want answers. Many people search and search….sometimes for their entire lives.

Yet, we all have the answers within us all the time. It’s just that sometimes we don’t like those answers. We argue with those answers. We distract ourselves from hearing those answers. And so, we make up answers that perhaps don’t feel as “scary” to us as the truth.

Of course, it’s only within our truth does our freedom lie. The truth will truly set us free…another good set of words.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Acknowledge is Power. You just gave me that tattoo. Share with us a bit about that idea.

Frank Gjata: Yes! The simple act of acknowledging is so very powerful. This has become the foundation of my work as a coach/facilitator. It’s based on connecting to our truth in the moment…no matter what it is. When we fully connect with our truth and follow it, it always leads to peace, love and freedom. Yes, always. Guaranteed.

Problem is, most of us never reach that blissful destination because often scary feelings pop up along the way…so we give up that idea real quick and turn the #%@! around. Fast. That’s sad…because it typically only takes a few minutes of facing, breathing and allowing… the storm (of feelings) to move through before the sun starts shining again.

The journey to peace and freedom starts with what I call, asking the “One” question: What’s your truth right now?

Below are 5 key points why acknowledging our truth is so powerful:

1. ANY TRUTH taps into the source of ALL TRUTH.

2. There is universal desire for truth and wholeness.

3. Our body wants to be healed. Our soul wants to be free.

4. Waves of energy change as they are observed.

5. When we acknowledge our truth…NO MATTER WHAT IT IS…we are actually practicing unconditional love and acceptance.

You can read more about these 5 key points here:

Jennifer Pastiloff: Let’s get naked Frank. My Naked Guru. What is this? ( Love the this by the way!)

Frank Gjata: Let’s do! Naked is good. All kind of naked. “My Naked Guru” is about uncovering our true selves. I (and my naked guests) send out a short personally-written text message at a random time to wake people up in the moment…at a time when they’ve perhaps lost touch with their true selves. I’m looking forward to having you on as a naked texter. It’s fun. It’s free to sign up:

Jennifer Pastiloff: You seem to be dabbling in so many exciting things and endeavors with your different companies and websites and coaching. What is the key to managing all you do and staying focused?

Frank Gjata: Lol.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Ha! me too.

What is one message you would pass on right now to someone looking to manifest their best selves?

Frank Gjata: Following our bliss IS the destination.

(Put your bliss FIRST and everything will flow from there.)

Jennifer Pastiloff: What brings you the most joy? Your joy list….

Frank Gjata: Oh man, great question. I talk a lot about this…about the power and the necessity (yes, necessity) of living our bliss….on a daily basis.

This was the inspiration for launching I speak about why living our bliss is so vital for each of us and the world. You can find a brief article I wrote about that here:

My personal bliss day:

–Quiet morning with a cup of coffee (I’m not so enlightened to

drink tea yet. Maybe someday;-) I meditate, write, contemplate.

–Connecting to myself, others, clients, spirit and my blissful friends

throughout the day. (My dear friend, Adele Swan, is a longtime

favorite. You, too, Jennifer, are starting to grow on me;-)

–“Working” on my various projects.

–Having fun/laughing with my awesome daughter.

–Yoga (or surfing when the water is warm;-).

–Making love

Jennifer Pastiloff: How did you come to be a life coach? Did you feel as if it was your dharma, all along?

Frank Gjata: I didn’t set out to be a “life coach” (and yet I did). This is just another great example of the “listening and following” thing I speak so much of.

A few years ago, I knew there was more of me to be revealed. So I just started exploring, reading a lot and attending conferences etc. I continued to listen and follow…and that landed me graciously at The Hendricks Institute: This is where I received much of my coaching training.

And yes, to answer your second question, I do feel it was my dharma all along.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Who are 5 people on your dream team to be wearing your Manifestation tattoos?

Frank Gjata: Hmm…I honestly get a kick out of seeing everybody wearing the tats. But, let’s see, my dream tat team…hmm…

Jim Carrey

Alanis Morissette

It would be pretty cool to see Obama sportin’ a couple tats.

How could I leave out Oprah?

And why not your favorite, Wayne Dyer? I love the space he’s in right now…and who he’s hangin’ with lately, Anita Moorjani. Love her. I know you love her, too. But for the other peeps out there that may not be aware of her yet, check her out at: Her experience will change yours.

Okay, that turned into 7 dream tatters.

Jennifer Pastiloff: When is the last time you’ve laughed at yourself?

Frank Gjata: A couple minutes ago to one of your questions above:-)

I have to say one of the coolest things that I experience now is that laughter has become my automatic default response to practically everything. Broken plate: Laugh. An argument: Laugh. Get humbled: Laugh. Admittedly, a passerby may think that’s nuts. But even that’s funny!

I know, you too, are a big fan of humor and laughter. I honestly believe that it will be humor and levity that will save the world. Humor is literally disarming. And couldn’t our world use a bit more disarming?

Jennifer Pastiloff: Connection. You and I have talked at length about this. What does connection mean to you?

Frank Gjata: Yes. Connection is where it’s at. When we connect to our true selves, we feel fully alive. We tap into source of one and all…and feel our connection to one and all.

Plus, connecting is a bargain. When we connect to ourselves, we automatically connect with spirit and others. And it works that way all the way around. I call it the best three-fer deal on the planet.

Jennifer Pastiloff: What’s up next for Frank Gjata?

Frank Gjata: I’m not sure…I’m excited to find out.

Thank you for having me Jennifer.

manifesting, Wayne Dyer

Hanging with Wayne Dyer in Atlanta.

April 14, 2012

With God all things are possible.

Wayne talked of this a lot today. Now, I have heard him speak a lot. But today this got me. A chill ran through my body, as it does more and more lately. A sign that I am paying attention to what resonates. Or that more is resonated lately? That I am connecting to things I am meant to be connecting to more often?

All of the above.

And then some.

All. Things. Possible.

So what does that leave out?

I love this.

I had that feeling today as I sat there in the second row as a guest of the author, my sister Rachel on my side. All the Dyers and Anita Moorjani and her husband wearing my blue Manifestation bracelets. Sara Blakely, founder of SPANX and the world’s youngest billionaire wearing my Manifestation bracelet.

Because: Anything is possible.

I dreamed this.

Over and over.

This is the life I want.

I want to be inspiring people on the level of Wayne and Anita and Sara. So why should I not be hanging out with them?

I told Wayne about my retreat to Maui next February and asked him if he would come over and talk to my group. He said “Anything is possible. Why not?

Ha! Wayne at my retreat? Pinch me.

(Who knows what will happen but… anything is possible kids.)

He told a great story today which I loved. He had just led a retreat on a cruise ship and he had asked everyone to go out and stare at the wake from the ship. He asked them to contemplate the wake. ( I feel a poem being inspired here already.)

The wake is the trail the ship leaves behind.

3 questions he told them to ask themselves:

1) What is the wake? Answer: the trail.

2)What is driving the boat? Answer: the PRESENT moment energy being generated is driving the boat. ( Key word: Present. Obviously.)

3) Is it possible for the wake to drive the boat? Answer: NO.

He suggested that most of us live this illusion though. The wake driving the boat! Ha!

I had such a breakthrough today. That kind of aha moment that happens before inspiration sinks in and kicks you in the teeth.

I think it is the poet in me that loves a good metaphor but, wow, is it ever an opportunity to give up your personal history, your crap, your story, when it is put so succinctly. So simply. So truthfully.

Another gem from today: Inspiration is when an idea gets ahold of you.

Motivation is ego driven.

Now that is something to think about.

I’d much rather be inspired.

As I am now in my life.

An idea has gotten a hold of me and I am being channeled. This is the best way, the only way I can truly describe my life these days.

Today Wayne said: writing is not something I do. It is what I am.

How beautiful a sentiment is that?

He talked so much about the “I Am” and I was so happy to be wearing my ” I am” Conscious Ink tattoo ( I gave him some and he went wild for them!)

Wayne talked about Divine Love as never changing, never varying.

There was so much to process today that it will take a few blog posts. Heck, a few years, but I wanted to share with you some inspiration and highlights.

Anita Moorjani, whom has become a friend, got up and spoke. She had a Near Death Experience after having Stage 4 cancer.  She came back because she has work to do. (Thank God she came back!)

Her message, to remind us all to be ourselves, is simple and IMPORTANT. She says more important than being positive is being yourself!

Her book Dying To Be Me has been called, by many, the most important book they have ever read. Wayne is a huge fan of Anita, as am I. She is so incredible, as is this work she is doing. Please take a moment and read my earlier interview with her.

She will change your life. As she says, remember your magnificence.

My dear friend Anita Moorjani. Please buy her book “Dying To Be Me”. It will change your life. Seriously. Go!

As usual my friend Skye sang (Wayne’s daughter.) She added Whitney Houston’s Greatest Love of All which made everyone bawl, of course. Saje Dyer also got up and spoke. She is Wayne’s youngest. Adorable and hilarious. She talked (spontaneously) about how she healed herself at age 5 or 6 with a child’s belief system. It was so beautiful and funny and impromptu. Another Dyer with a big inspiring future in front of her.

Sommer Dyer was also there, who will be guest posting very soon on my blog. Wait until you read this Dyer daughter’s post. She is very special to me.

Sommer Dyer, Saje Dyer, me , my sister Rachel, Skye Dyer

I met Tracy, his eldest and bought a purse from her amazing company Urban Junket. Tracy is gorgeous and funny. It’s like there is something in the water they drink? Tracy creates purses from recycled water bottles. Hello, Awesome!

My sister and I each bought one. Get one. They are cute and support the Earth. Hello, More Awesome!

Lastly, Sara Blakely. The world’s youngest billionaire and founder of Spanx. She got up and said a few words about how Wayne had been a great inspiration to her and was one of the reasons she is so successful. I gave her my blue Manifestation bracelet which you can see in the photos and my Manifesting tee. She was talking to us forever. To say she is cool would be an UNDERSTATEMENT.

The coolest billionaire I ever met.

And she is manifesting, no less.

Wayne and Sara Blakely are so funny! They are showing off their Spanx! ha!

My dad and his other daughters. Hee hee.
Saje, Sommer, Wayne and Skye Dyer.

Tracy Dyer and I. I am holding up my Urban Junket bag. Recycled Water Bottles. Bad-ass!!!

My buddy Skye Dyer and I. She sings so beautifully.

Skye singing on stage with her dad. So moving.

Saje got called up. Surprise!
She was funny and inspiring.
You can heal yourself with LOVE, she says.
This girl rocks so hard.

So here it is:

I am manifesting:

Sara Blakely sponsoring my sister’s One Small Step Walk for Prader Wille Syndrome and doing a q&a on this blog, as Wayne did.

Wayne Dyer definitely coming to my Maui retreat next February. It’s happening folks. I see it. Book early as we will go deep and it will be intimate. (click here to sign up.)

Wayne writing the foreword for my book.

Atlanta Tales.

April 13, 2012

Hi y’all.

I am here in Atlanta.

Tomorrow morning I will go and see Wayne Dyer and Anita Moorjani speak. To say I am excited is an understatement. I will be bringing my sister Rachel, who has never seen Wayne live and we are going as his daughters’ guests.

Couldn’t be a more perfect situation. Stay tuned for blog posts this week about the inspiration that ensued.

In the meantime, here’s what my trip so far has been like:

My nephew Maddock plays on the swing.

Blaise and Dutch resting under a tree. Georgia.

My sister has chickens and goats and dogs. Oh yea, and two kids and a husband. It’s a different life here from L.A., that’s for sure, but it’s so sweet. They have a huge skateboard ramp and lots of land. We sat outside today under a tree for hours and just talked. Blaise played with his iPad and Maddock played on the swing.

It was perfect.

Little Ripples…

March 28, 2012
Anita Moorjani and Wayne Dyer

That’s what we are all doing here.

That’s what my mission is when I CONNECT with you. Whether it is here or through my classes or workshops or retreats.

It is my intention to always be authentic. Always.

My hope is that I am a facilitator. That I can help you to pay attention to the ripples in your own life and start causing those ripples yourself.

Here is a letter I just received from someone who took my workshop in Austin at Black Swan Yoga. I was so moved that I am sharing it (with her permission of course.)

Dear Jen,

Since taking your manifestation workshop I have been trying to make sense of some things that have been going on in my life.

I think it is important to express gratitude to those who make an impact and I needed to let you know your role in my journey.

I came to the Black Swan Yoga training with the last ounce of energy I had to make my life work. I had struggled for the last several years with PTSD after a near death experience and I was on the verge of ruining my life. My marriage was falling apart, I dreaded getting out of bed and my kids deserved better. A few months before I decided to do the training I hit a cross road.

It was a particularly nasty argument with the spouse and I took off for a few days to clear my head. As I was driving down the highway, I had downloaded some good ole Dr. Wayne Dyer audiobooks. I was literally praying out loud in my car for something, ANYTHING to help me stop banging my head against the wall.

At that moment when I am about to make one of the toughest decisions of my life, I heard Dr. Dyer say, “We are not humans having a spiritual experience, but rather a spirit having a human experience.”

I kid you not, my world literally moved. It felt like an earthquake happened inside my body. I had to pull off the highway I was shaking and sobbing so hard. At that moment everything I had been trying to understand my whole life totally made sense. I immediately emailed my husband to tell him that I was choosing compassion and understanding over anger and frustration.

All in that moment I realized that I was, as is everyone else, an all encompassing light of love and that anything that didn’t reflect that was just a simple misunderstanding of the mind. As this new idea resonated with me, I started changing my perception and allowing the light to flow through. I started to notice things coming a little easier. As I moved through the training process I started to become more alive, energetic and centered.

By the time your workshop came around I was marveling in this new found happiness and gratitude for the thing the were coming into my life. During the workshop when you talked about how Dr Dyer had impacted your life, I had chills run down my spine.  I realize the global impact he has on people, but I had been sitting with this immense appreciation for him in the recent weeks and I was taken aback when I heard his name. It felt like you were somehow speaking directly to me. And then it happened again!

You started talking about our choices and opening up to the experience life has to offer and Eminem started playing, “If you had one shot. one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted. One moment. would you capture it or just let it pass you by.” That earthquake inside happened again. I remember laughing, almost uncontrollably.

I finally realized I was aligning myself with God and my purpose. I saw in you exactly what I wanted to see in my self, authenticity. It took one more tiny internal earthquake a few weeks later (when I heard Dr. Dyer’s daughter was named Skye, like my son’s name. Little hints that remind me that we are all connected) to fully understand that my mind, body and spirit were aligning and I was finally understanding my purpose in life.

Last night I laid in bed with my eyes wide open in complete ahhh of this magical transformation. I could feel the light passing through me. My life long question, that I have prayed for every single night since I was a little girl, has finally been answer. My purpose is to be authentic and the rest will undoubtable fall into place. My faith in the Universe is unwavering. The people that need to come into my life will present themselves at just the right time.

I am so eternally grateful for my life.

Thank you for being a guiding light in my journey. namaste.

Wow. Wow.

Listen folks: “I started changing my perception and allowing the light to flow through. I started to notice things coming a little easier.”

Did you read that? Can you hear that? Are you listening?

Let me write her words again: I started changing my perception and allowing the light to flow through. I started to notice things coming a little easier.

That’s a ripple. She started paying attention and observing the ripples. Or miracles, as I also like to call them!

Anita Moorjani and Wayne Dyer

This line makes me cry because it is so spot-on, so beautiful and so reminiscent of my mentor Anita Moorjani’s book Dying To Be Me

My life long question, that I have prayed for every single night since I was a little girl, has finally been answer. My purpose is to be authentic and the rest will undoubtable fall into place.

That folks, is a ripple.

Go out and cause some!

Q & A Series

Alissa Finerman: Living In Your Top 1%. The Manifestation Q&A Series.

February 10, 2012

Welcome to The Manifestation Q&A Series.

I am Jennifer Pastiloff and this series is designed to introduce the world to someone I find incredible. Someone who is manifesting their dreams on a daily basis.

Today’s guest is life/business coach and author Alissa Finerman. Alissa has become a dear friend over this last year, and, in fact, we have done a couple of workshops together called “Manifesting Your Top 1%.” Alissa and her book “Living In Your Top 1%” helped me to get clear on my goals and really step into my power, allowing me to achieve so much in these last few months. Allowing me also to really define my own top 1% team. It’s exciting!

I highly recommend her book, Manifesters!

She has done a guest post already on the Manifestation Station but I wanted you all to get to know my dear friend and mentor, so I asked her to join us in the Q&A Series. She fits right in, alongside such great minds as Dr. Wayne Dyer, Anita Moorjani and the lovely Christy Turlington.

Alissa is one of the most powerful and strong people I have come in contact with. To have her on your own top 1% team would be a dream come true. Now is your chance to get a glimpse into the mind of Alissa Finerman…..

Jennifer Pastiloff: What are you most proud to have manifested in your life?

Alissa Finerman: In 2004, I visited one of my best friends who lived in Santa Monica, CA. I took a picture of the sun shining down on the ocean with the mountains in the background. I put that picture in a frame in my apt in NYC, where I was living at the time, and told myself that’s where I would live. Today, that picture is in my kitchen in Santa Monica, CA and amazingly enough — I see that view every single day!

Alissa holding up KIND bars, which everyone enjoyed at my Manifestation Retreat. Thank you KIND.

Jennifer Pastiloff: What is the greatest lesson that you have learned from being a life and business coach? from competing on the professional tennis tour? from writing a book?

Alissa Finerman I’ve learned different lessons from each of these experiences.

* Life/Business Coach: Once people shift their minds to believe in themselves, anything is possible.

* Professional Tennis Tour: I learned the importance of quieting my mind and focusing on one point at a time. That’s how tournaments and big matches are won and it’s how big things are accomplished in life. One step at a time.

* Writing a book: Writing a book was an incredible learning experience and process. I was outside my comfort zone during the entire process and had to depend on myself (although I did have a great team). At the end of the day, I had to step into the CEO role and make the decisions. And I proved to myself that I can successfully step outside my comfort zone and do it!

Alissa's book is a MUST READ.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Can you tell us a bit about your book?

Alissa Finerman: My book, Living in Your Top 1%, is a combination of motivation, inspiration, and practical how-to (think Tony Robbins meets Oprah). In the book, I break down the laws of success and show people that you can achieve personal greatness from any starting point. There is a process and I share nine rituals to help people create the life they want. I share insights from the best thinkers in the field with a collection of compelling stories, to help people of all ages reach their true potential. I also wanted to make people aware that your top 1% is different than the top 1% and we need to separate what society thinks we should do from what we actually want to do. One of the biggest thrills was having Marianne Williamson, a NY Times bestselling author, give me an endorsement to use on my book cover — I manifested that too! :)

Alissa and I at my Manifestation Retreat to Ojai where she was a special guest and a big hit!

Jennifer Pastiloff: I have a list of “rules”. See below. What would some of Alissa’s “rules” be?

Alissa Finerman

1. Set aside the shoulds

2. Make yourself a priority

3. You have the right to say yes and no

4. Match your words and actions

5. Own your choices

6. Be consistent

7. Go after what’s important to you

8. Honor your non-negotiables

9. Define success and follow YOUR top 1%

10. Step into the CEO role of YOU INC.

Alissa speaking to some of my retreat participants. They loved her!

Jennifer Pastiloff: Who/what inspires you the most?

Alissa Finerman: I’m inspired when people find their passion and truly do what they love. It could be Anthony Robles, who won the NCAA wrestling championships with only one leg, or a teenager that I mentored who will be the first person in her family to go to college. I love when people shine and redefine their potential — that makes me really happy and inspires me.

Jennifer Pastiloff: I teach many of my classes to the theme of gratitude. If you could say thank you right now to one person who would it be?

Alissa Finerman: I love your classes and the themes you choose. I’d have to say “thank you” to my mom, dad and brother for always believing in me during every stage of my journey (from leaving a successful Wall Street career, to moving to LA from NYC). They are incredibly consistent and I can always count on them, and for that I am deeply grateful.

Jennifer Pastiloff: What is one message you would pass on right now to someone looking to manifest their best selves and their top 1%?

Alissa Finerman: Be kind to yourself and realize that success or finding your passion doesn’t happen overnight — it’s a process so enjoy it. You’re top 1% is ready for you and you CAN go from impossible to possible (it’s only 2 letters). Start to build a top 1% team and condition your mind to practice rituals that help you shine.

Jennifer Pastiloff: What brings you the most joy? Your joy list, as it were.

Alissa Finerman: Seeing other people shine and experience top 1% moments.

Jennifer Pastiloff: What can we expect Alissa Finerman to manifest in 2012?

Alissa Finerman: Wow, there’s so much to manifest! I will give my “Living in Your Top 1%” workshop all over the country, write for OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network), have Oprah recommend my book as one of her favorites and have the book be in the Top 50 on Amazon, give a TED talk, work with at least three Fortune 500 companies as a speaker/coach, donate 5k to charity with proceeds from my book, have my own radio show featuring people who are inspiring others and making a difference in the world, and be in an amazing relationship! And much more!

Jennifer Pastiloff: Can you tell us a little about your journey. Giving up your 9-5 job to pursue your dreams…..

Alissa Finerman: I had a great life, good job, was living in NYC and making good money. There was only one problem — I wasn’t fulfilled or engaged in my job and I didn’t want to live in the cold weather. In 2007, I was finally honest with myself and realized that even though I had gone to business school to have a finance career — it wasn’t my path. It came to the point where I couldn’t go on one more day in a finance because I wasn’t passionate about that area. I left my investment job in 2007 and started on my journey as a Business/Life Coach and got my coaching credentials.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Why did you pick life coaching? When did you realize you had a gift for this?

Alissa Finerman: I’ve always been interested in motivation and why two people given the same resources excel to different levels. I started reading personal development books back in 2000 and have read hundreds of books and articles. I received my coaching credentials from New York University. As a coach, I get to inspire and be inspired by incredible people and that’s a true gift. I love what I do and it’s taken me a long time to say that. I’m grateful for that too!

Jennifer Pastiloff: I read somewhere you mentor young women. Can you tell us about that?

Alissa Finerman: When I worked on Wall Street, I didn’t feel like I was making a difference and that always bothered me. Last year, I set a goal to get involved with three non-profit organizations, Dress for Success, Step-up Women’s Network, and I gave a scholarship with proceeds from a book signing event I did to a great organization Exceeding Expectations. So I’ve had the privilege to make an impact with young women in these organizations and that’s very exciting for me. It’s important to me that every person has someone who believes in her and tells her she can not only dream but achieve great things too.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Who are your greatest teachers?

Alissa Finerman: Marianne Williamson started me on my journey with her book, A Return to Love, and helped me open my heart and mind to a world outside of Wall Street. I learn everyday from my clients, yoga teachers (yes you), hiking in the Santa Monica mountains, and stories of people redefining possible.

Jennifer Pastiloff: What is one quote you live by?

Alissa Finerman: Different quotes speak to me during different periods in my life, this quote speaks to me right now because I like to challenge myself to live in my stretch zone and reach higher…

“There is no passion to be found playing small, in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” ~ Nelson Mandela

Jennifer Pastiloff: Are you writing a 2nd book?

Alissa Finerman: Soon! One of my goals is to have an idea/theme for my next book clearly defined by the end of 2012!

Jennifer Pastiloff: How can we find more of Alissa Finerman?

Alissa Finerman: I have a monthly newsletter that people can sign up for on my website. They can also join my Facebook and Twitter pages to learn about upcoming workshops/events. And to learn more about coaching options, please visit

Twitter: @alissafinerman

Q & A Series, There Are No Words To Describe This

Dying To Be Me. The Manifestation Q&A Series: Anita Moorjani.

February 6, 2012

Welcome to The Manifestation Q&A Series.

I am Jennifer Pastiloff and this series is designed to introduce the world to someone I find incredible. Someone who is manifesting their dreams on a daily basis.

There are no words to describe this, which is why that is one of the categories I have filed this interview under. I met Anita Moorjani in October when I went to see my great teacher Wayne Dyer speak in Pasadena. Through a series of events which prove to me the divine guidance of love and the power of manifesting, I ended up not only at the lecture, but as Dr. Dyer’s guest with his daughter. I happened to be sitting next to a beautiful woman who as it turned out would be speaking at the event. Not only did she speak, but she cracked my heart open. I sobbed for hours after I saw her and heard her story. Not with sadness, but with a clarity and an understanding and a yearning for love. I do not want to talk too much about her because I want you to see for yourself who this woman is to me. She is now, next to Wayne Dyer, one of my great teachers and spiritual guides.

On 2nd February 2006, Anita Moorjani experienced what most of us never have!

She crossed over and came back to share what she learned. Doctors at the hospital had given Anita just hours to live when she arrived at the hospital that morning, unable to move as a result of the cancer that had ravaged her body for over three years.

Below she shares with us what she learned and her big beautiful heart. Please get her book as soon as you can. Dying To Be Me, Anita’s book, goes into great detail about what it means to live authentically and fearlessly and how it is imperative to love ourselves fiercely.

I love this woman and am counting the days until I see her and Dr. Dyer in San Jose! Join me?

Get ready, my sweet Manifesters……

Anita and I in Pasadena, California after she and Dr. Wayne Dyer spoke

Jennifer Pastiloff: What are you most proud to have manifested in your life?

Anita Moorjani: Healing from cancer! By far that is the most important manifestation of my life! But I am also incredibly proud to have written a book! I never thought I could write, so it feels really surreal to realize that I have actually authored a book that is being published by Hay House! What a dream come true!

Jennifer Pastiloff: What is the greatest lesson that you have learned from having a near death experience?

Anita Moorjani: The biggest lesson I learned was how important it was to love myself and be true to myself. That is the most important lesson from my NDE. I had always thought it was selfish to love myself and meet my needs before others, but I learned that if I do not love myself, I will not have enough love to give others because I cannot give others what I myself do not have. The more I love myself and have my own needs met, the easier it is for me to be generous with others.

I used to be a people pleaser, and always put others first, and was often afraid of being myself. I was always trying to be someone I was not, and would always become drained from doing and doing for others. And I always thought it was selfish to pursue my own needs when others were more needy. But I now understand that it’s not selfish at all to have my own needs met first, and in fact, I am here to be myself. And when I am self actualized, it makes me healthier, happier, more generous and less needy. I also understand that if we constantly try to be someone we are not, the planet will be deprived of who we really are!

Jennifer Pastiloff: I have a list of rules. See below. What would some of Anita’s rules be?

Anita Moorjani:

1. Don’t take life seriously;

2. Eat chocolate;

4. Eat more chocolate;

5. Enjoy life and do what brings you joy;

6. Make your everyday choices based on what makes you FEEL good, rather than what you THINK you should do or what others think you should do;

7. Live your life out of passion and love, rather than out of a fear of failing and displeasing;

8. Start each day listening to “Dancing Queen” and singing along with it;

9. Laugh at yourself every single day! (The more you practice this one, the sooner you will achieve nirvana).

10. Every time you look in the mirror, remind yourself that you are a perfect child of the universe who is here to be true to yourself. Your only purpose is to be yourself. To try to be anyone else would be depriving the universe of who you really are.

11. Don’t worry too much about “getting it right”. When our only purpose is to be our self, we cannot get it wrong!

12. Start each day with a clean slate, leaving behind the emotions of yesterday. Each day is a blank canvas, on to which we can paint anything we desire! So it’s our choice whether we paint our canvas with joy, love and laughter, or with fear, anger, regret, anxiety, and worry.

Jennifer Pastiloff:  Who/what inspires you the most?

Anita Moorjani: The people who inspire me the most are the ones who make the greatest magic on our planet without realizing that they are making magic. The unsung heroes who receive no recognition, fame or monetary rewards for what they do. People like the lady in our community who rescues abandoned and unwanted dogs, and feeds and homes all the dogs that no one else wants; the parents who adopt special needs children who they know no one else will adopt because they are going to give them a challenging life; or the nurses who deal with terminally ill patients with the utmost care and concern, and can still remain cheerful and upbeat for the sake of their patients. There are many such people who have woven themselves into the fabric of our society, yet most of us don’t even notice or recognize them. They have become all but invisible to us, and whenever I come across someone like this, it is both inspiring and humbling.

Jennifer Pastiloff:  I teach many of my classes to the theme of gratitude. If you could say thank you right now to one person who would it be?

Anita Moorjani: This one is easy – it would have to be Dr. Wayne Dyer! You would not be interviewing me right now if it weren’t for him, and I am so grateful to him for believing that everyone needs to hear my message and giving me the opportunity to share my message with the world! He has been such a huge support in getting my book published and out there, and the universe could not have conspired to bring me to the attention of a better or more suitable person than Wayne!

Jennifer Pastiloff: What is one message you would pass on right now to someone looking to manifest their best selves? Especially after seeing you in Pasadena with Dr. Dyer and hearing what you went through, I know that your message is one that is very important for us.

Anita Moorjani: My message is very simple – JUST BE YOURSELF! Always be true to yourself, and you will attract what is truly yours! There is nothing more to it than that, really. The more we try to be someone we are not, the more we are pushing away what we truly deserve.

The only reason we deny our own truth is out of fear – fear that who we are is not deserving, not good enough or inadequate in some way. This fear will push away what we truly deserve. All we need to do is to be our self fearlessly, and we will attract what is truly ours!

Jennifer Pastiloff:  Tell us about your journey with Dr. Wayne Dyer, who is also a guest on The Manifestation Q&A Series, and happens to be my greatest teacher.

Anita Moorjani: This was an amazing, and synchronistic journey, which I have written about in great detail in my book. Wayne discovered my story – which was brought to his attention by a lovely lady named Mira Kelley – at the exact moment when I was ready to share my story with a broader audience. After reading my story, which Mira printed off the internet to show him, Wayne felt compelled to track me down and help me publish a book on my story. It took a staggering amount of synchronicities for my story to reach Wayne’s hands, and finally become a published book, in such a short frame of time!

Jennifer Pastiloff: What brings you the most joy? Your joy list, as it were.

Anita Moorjani: Seeing others helped by my story! Nothing makes me happier than for others to feel that hearing of my experience has helped them in some way to heal their hearts. It makes my journey through cancer so much more worth while. I don’t want others to suffer the way I did, and hope I went through what I did so others won’t have to!

Jennifer Pastiloff: What are you manifesting for 2012?

Anita Moorjani: I am hoping that together, we can manifest a world without irrational fears! Although I understand that some fears may be healthy, as they may keep us safe from harm. But as a race of people, we have become pathologically fearful, and it is now a serious disease that is devouring us and our planet. Fear not only feeds illnesses like cancer, and wears down our immune system, but it is also at the root of our violence and terrorism. We have become a fear-based society. Our behaviors and decisions are all based on our fears, rather than our passion or desire for a more joyful and fruitful life. Our medical systems, laws, governments, etc, are all fear based and fear driven, rather than stemming from a desire to do good for ourselves, our community, and the planet. Because of this, our emotions are constantly in a state of fear! I would love to be the catalyst that makes people aware of this, and makes people see things differently. Our only responsibility is to see it in ourselves, and change it in our own self. When we can do that, we will see the world change.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Can you tell us a little about your journey. Let’s say who you were 15 years ago as compared to now.

Anita Moorjani: 15 years ago, I was afraid of everything. I used to be a people pleaser, and would try very hard to fit in, and would be afraid to show my true feelings. I felt I had to work hard at being liked, and would not be considered a good person unless I did things to deserve it. I used to believe that I had to work harder at being more spiritual, a better person, etc. And I always felt I didn’t measure up to other people’s expectations. Now I realize that we are all spiritual, whether we realize it or not! How can we not be, as we come from spirit and return to spirit? And my only responsibility is to be myself, and if that’s my only responsibility, then I cannot fail! And if we are not being true to our selves, then the universe is deprived of who we came here to be.

I also used to be very particular about everything I ate, not because of a love for myself or a caring for my body. It was because of fear of what these foods would do to me. I was very afraid of cancer, and believed that everything caused cancer, from microwaves, barbecued foods, red meat, plastic containers, pollution, sunshine, etc. I now realize that it’s the emotions I feel about the food that has more effect on me than the food itself. I can choose to eat conventionally healthy food, and as long as I am doing it because I love my body and life, and want to live long and healthy, then that’s the effect the food will have on me. If I eat it out of fear, because I am afraid of cancer, I am just sending fear based energy through my body, regardless of whether the food is healthy or not.

Even if I eat a piece of chocolate or dessert, I eat it because I want to enjoy the sensation of eating it, and enjoy every bite.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Where can we find more of you and your book?

Anita Moorjani: My website is It is kept updated with all my latest video uploads, as well as upcoming speaking engagements.

To order my book, the best place would be Amazon:

In my book, I go into a lot more detail, particularly about my illness, what emotions I feel caused it, and what emotions I feel healed it.

Jennifer Pastiloff: When was the last time you laughed at yourself?

Anita Moorjani: I think I laugh at myself all the time! My husband and my closest friends know me well enough now to know how important it is to be able to laugh at ourselves, so we do it all the time now! I am now able to laugh at myself really easily at what I used to at one time perceive as my inherent “flaws”. I laugh at my human-ness, and no longer beat myself up when I fail, goof up, can’t keep up, fall down, am criticized, and so on. I now realize that if all we have to do is be ourselves, we can’t get it wrong!

Jennifer Pastiloff: What would say say about the theme of “Forgiveness”, a big one in my classes.

Anita Moorjani: For me, this is an interesting one. My NDE has really changed my focus on forgiveness. In that NDE state, the love for myself was unconditional, and I realized that I was one with everyone.

Prior to my NDE, I used to think that I had to forgive people if I perceived they had wronged me or hurt me in some way. I now realize that there is nothing to forgive. People don’t hurt others intentionally – they only do so out of their own pain. Or when we perceive hurt where there is none intended, we are perceiving hurt out of our own pain. If I am able to love myself unconditionally, and realize that we are all One, that is, part of the same Whole, then it becomes easier to love and accept others unconditionally. And when I can do that, I realize there is nothing to forgive. If we are One, then forgiving others is the same as forgiving myself.

And when I can live from a place of total acceptance for self and unconditional love for self, it becomes much easier to live from that place of unconditional love and total acceptance for others. And when we are in that place of acceptance for all, we realize that there is nothing to forgive. Everything is as it should be.

Jennifer Pastiloff:  When can we expect you back in the U.S.?

Anita Moorjani: I will be back in the US in March. I will be speaking with Wayne Dyer at the San Jose “I Can Do It” conference hosted by Hay House on March 17/18. Am really looking forward to it – to meeting all the lovely people there again! And I just love being on stage with Wayne. I just love his presence! He has such a wonderful way with his audience and his guests!

Jennifer Pastiloff: What would you say to the 16 year old Anita?

Anita Moorjani: I would say, “You are perfect the way you are! You don’t need to change for anyone else! You don’t need to feel that you have to do things to prove yourself! You are loved unconditionally. You are a perfect child of the universe, and your only purpose is to be yourself.” I would make sure that the 16 year old Anita feels that she is loved unconditionally, regardless.

Jennifer Pastiloff: I was most moved by the love of your husband. Can you share a bit about that?

Anita Moorjani: My husband has always loved me unconditionally. He really is a lovely man, and what I didn’t realize in the beginning was that all I had to do was love myself unconditionally too, and merely by doing that, I would be able to love him unconditionally as well! However, instead of just basking in his unconditional love for me, prior to my cancer, I had always felt I had to do things to make it up to him, for loving me so much! I was always trying really hard to make it up to him for loving me so much. I never realized that I just had to “be” rather than constantly focus on “doing”.

When I first got married, I had always thought that I, as a woman, would be the one to teach him about the meaning of unconditional love. But through my illness, I realized that he was the one teaching me.

My husband is my soul mate, and I am always grateful for him, and the way he cared for me through my illness. He believes that was his purpose in this life – to see me through that.

Jennifer Pastiloff: Thank you. I love you xoxoox

Anita Moorjani: Thank you, and love you too!!! xxxxxx
