Kim Derby is a fourth generation Californian and LA native. She lives in Pacific Palisades with her pitbull and two cats. Kim spent two decades working as an executive assistant to C-Suite executives, until she finally quit to start writing. Her first paid gig was four years as a senior writer for EcoSalon (ecosalon.com/author/kim-derby/), one of the first ‘green’ lifestyle blogs.
