Piper Selden

Piper Selden is a writer, educator, and activist. She lives in Hilo, on the Big Island of Hawaii, with her husband, two children, and a small menagerie of animals. When not writing, teaching, or dodging lava flows, she enjoys playing in the dirt: gardening, making herbal potions, and tending a busy worm farm. She does most her writing at night, when the moon is high and the house is quiet. Piper writes and has published in a variety of genres, including academia and the sciences, creative nonfiction, fiction, and poetry.
